These dogs are quick to bark at strangers, and this makes them excellent watchdogs. The only problem with this is that the Pomeranian will keep barking, and this can become annoying. Owners will want to train them not to do this. It is important for owners to demonstrate leadership qualities. If you donít, these dogs will not obey your commands.

Pomeranian Health Problems


These dogs have been known to suffer from heart problems, knee-cap disorders, eye infections, and dental issues. The Pomeranian has a maximum life expectancy of 15 years.
